According to Richie Whitt, who is the local sports…err, radio host blogger of all news about them, Greggo and John Clay Wolfe are taking applications for someone to be a sidekick for “The Show”.

For all you guys/girls that are hoping to get on the radio talking sports, along with ‘guy talk’ … might look to get your feet wet with the Hammer. That could be your beginning experience and if ‘the show’ takes off, you could either “like your gig” with them or maybe the mother ship will want to steal you away if you’re good enough.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge P1 and will always be (hence the time I put into this site), but I’m catching myself doing something that makes me feel like I’m cheating.

I’ve been tuning out of the Hardline lately and tuning into the Hammer over on Wolfe radio, or whatever it’s called…”The Show”. The over optimism about the Cowboys game tomorrow against the Eagles was killing me. I hope they’re right, but it’s too over the top confident for me to handle. Baseball talk in the next segment made me realize Greggo is yuckin it up on the internet channel and it’s pretty damn entertaining, so I turned the hardline off and greggo on.

I’m finding myself doing it more and more. Greggo sounds great and as “greggo” as ever. The filter they have is very familiar to the old Ticket, where they just said whatever the hell they wanted to. I also love how Greggo talks about his old days on the Ticket and you can tell how much he appreciated it. Another thing is the way the Ticket treats callers as horrible people and at the Greggo show, not only are they nice, but you can hear the damn phone ring! All they need now is an enco with a McGruber playing drops and a yuck monkey, then I’ll have a real hard time deciding.

But let’s be honest, it’s inked into my blood. It’ll take a miracle for me to give up the Hardline for someone else. I do, however, like the fact I can switch over during a boring segment and enjoy Cap’n Hugs!

It’s nice listening to good ole Hammer! Especially since it’s dry dock over at the Ticket. Although, BaD is on today during afternoon drive time. I heard Norm will be afternoons, but who knows.

Bo - The First Dog

From Boyd, Texas, Bo “The Hammer” Obama talked to the Musers about life as a first dog.

He’s at Martha’s Vineyard with the Obama’s and says he’s tearing up the poodles standing in line to get a piece of him.

Bo also says he misses Texas, his old pal who’s a Weimarhyner but he just called him Weimarhynes. They had a falling out.

After a secret service steps on his tail, he proceeds to lick his red rocket back down.

Then he gets into sports talk and mentions his baseball show called “Diamond Bark”.

While there isn’t a lot of info over there, his most recent post, which was on Monday, October 13, bullets a bunch of thoughts. One of them was that he thinks Pacman will screw up again.

Welcome to Greggo Thursday. A day that is always fun to look forward to, even though I listen to these things over and over.

Anyhow, if you are familiar with Greggo and his interviewing skills, you should be familiar with his groundbreaking interview asking Chief Kunkle “Do You Like This Gig?“. He’s never been one to be a hard hitting interviewer.

The fake Greggo decided to interview Dallas Cowboy player man, Marcus Spears, back in his rookie year. The interview was strikingly similar to other interviews he’s done.

We’re starting a new thing at The UnTicket, “Greggo Thursdays“. We’re going to publish a Greggo bit every Thursday until we either run out or get sick of him. Then again, who can get sick of the Hammer bits?

There is no doubt that during the Greggo regime, he missed more days than the rest of the guys combined. These days, we now know why.

But without all of those missed days, we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy this classic audio:

One of the comments over on the Observer blog was about putting Greggo into a room full of musicians. I guess that line means all music people drink, do drugs and apply a ton of peer pressure.
