Unticket Request Line

Attention UnTicket P1′s!

Ok, I’m seriously going to try and keep this thing going.  But for that to happen, we need to lay a couple of ground rules, just to make our lives easier.  Following these rules will really, really increase your chances of getting the premium golden ticket audio content that you so lust after inserted into your warm ear canals.

  • We need the date and time of the requested audio.  I have enough trouble remembering what comes after the Musers and before BaD Radio.  Throw us a bone if you don’t remember the exact date – i.e. “It was after GNG, or before the E-News where Rhynes’s colostomy bag exploded all over the microphone”
  • It’s gotta be funny or worthwhile to people other than just you – for example, the interview that Norm did about the Aggie/Longhorn/HornFrog/Sooner third-string running back that you want to hear because you went to that college is not worthy audio
  • We generally don’t re-post sports segments unless there’s a meltdown or E-brake
  • Ask for one specific thing – for example, requesting all community-quick-hits for the last, oh, six months or so is not cool. Use our audio files/archive pages for your show or segment.
  • Birthday shout-outs on WTDS, not so much — However, if you’re willing to share the pictures that you sent to the Hardline with us, we can negotiate…
  • Absolutely, positively no raceweek.

Failure to adhere to the rules will result in (a) denial of your request, (b) public ridicule, (c) me going through and permanently deleting the audio so you’ll never, ever have it.

Do you ever post Intentional Grounding? November 4, 2013, 7pm – 8:15pm. Dale Hanson and Mike Doocy. (I know its not 24 hours yet – just asking in advance.) Thanks.

George created school closing audio crawl by Rashid. it played several times during Musers show. it was featured briefly during Gordon talks to the TV Audience segment on Dec 9th. it’s one of the funniest bits and that’s saying a lot, i have ever heard.

Can someone PLEASE provide a link to the e-break or audio from the time that (I”m pretty sure it was George) George lost it during a live spot? I think it was because of something that Gordon said, but he just kept exploding in laughter and could barely get through the spot. Maybe from the last couple of years. I never bookmarked it but I REALLY need to hear it again. Thanks!

This isn’t a request so much as a question you might be able to answer. Between segments by the regular hosts The Ticket sometimes plays self promotional ads that ask the P1 to be part of whatever upcoming event is coming up. There is a voice that isn’t one of the usual ticker voices. Its quite professional and I always wonder who that is. Trying to think of an example. …..the one that talks about winning a chance to hang out at the studio and look through the glass into Kat’s office then goes on to say we’ll provide you with a private stabbing cabin etc etc…. Who’s voice is that?

Can you dig up the gordo’s corner when they are talking about Christmas classic movies like Rudolph and they may have had the guy in doing the live play? Very thank you!

This is not a specific request for audio, but more of a general suggestion for the site. Could you perhaps split the new stuff from the old stuff? The way it is now, there will be several posts from ’04 and then a couple of them from the last week or so all mixed together. Is there a way to maybe move the older ones to an “archive” page or something? It would make things easier to find, I think, if the clips were separated in this way.

14 DP January 7, 2014 at 4:02 pm

anything “posted” is new audio to the site. Old audio is sometimes just as good, or better, than new audio. It’s where it all began. Embrace it.

While I’m sure some people like to listen to an E-News broadcast from ten years ago, that doesn’t interest me at all. I don’t see what would be the harm in having two separate pages, but you certainly have the right to completely disregard my request.

PLEASE HELP! No one believes me that after a draft, not the 2012, or 2013, that he explained that the picks “were like when someone has a pet cat. “Meow, Meow, and that is what these picks were”. Is it because Jerry has personaly erased it entirely off of the internet? Please find and post that entire thing! It was hilarious. Room full of media. What happened to it?(If this doesn’t cause Jerry to hunt you down and eliminate you!) Thank You!

Being a Lord of the Rings/Hobbit nerd fan, this Norm opening is a must have for me to share and enjoy. If you can make this available I will send you a nude pic of my hot wife! Thanks!

Ok…shot in the dark here. I hear of a controversial Gordo character from the early years called “Man Who’s Trying to Have a Period”. I have no idea what the hell this is but the name really intrigues me. I have no idea when its from but maybe somebody here knows it? Sorry I’m not more help.

The Muse In the News segment I’m looking for is when George and Craig were on Christmas break, BaD Radio and Gordon were filling in. Instead of doing a Muse segment, Gordon called and bugged George 2 days straigt to wake him up with the rooster sound effect. After George “woke up”, he began to imitate Mel Allen and Dan imitated Charlie in the box from the land of misfit toys. Mel was in his coffin talking to Charlie in the box. Their boxes bumped into each other and Mel’s “box” filled up with blood.

Looking for the BEAR TRAP OF THE WEEK from The Musers from November 2010. It was the Bear Trap Of The Week right after our Texas Rangers beat the yankers to win our first pennant. I won that Bear Trap Of The Week as the farting concierge. I have never been able to find it and would love to be able to have it for myself if possible. P1 from Day 1 and thanks for being the very best Ticket….

Please add the audio from The Hardline yesterday, 2/12/14, about 5:30; they discussed the state of modern country music and had a ‘check list’ of things that country songs need to mention. It was one of the funniest segments I’ve heard in a while.
