Just finished listening to Rhyner, Cobby and Danny talking about how their ratings didn’t fall at all. They were worried there would be a big drop off because Greggo was partying the whole time. I was about to talk about how they were PR spinning the ratings, but Mike finally said the right thing.

The ratings numbers they were talking about were for the last quarter of 2007. Where EVERYONE wanted to know “Where’s Greggo”. They kept dragging it out for legal reasons they state, so it’s only common sense their listeners will be tuning in hoping to hear what was going on. It almost became a craze.

The news of Greggo The Hammer Williams resigning didn’t happen until this month. That means the peaked interest of the whole story is gone. It’s now just Cobby and Rhyner. Talk to us after the next ratings. That’s when we’ll really see if people fall off. To be real honest, I still don’t see it dropping off. I would say a lot of their listeners are like us, stuck on it. I think if Ben and Skin replaced the Hardline, then The Ticket would fail in the afternoons.

The 10-Noon show on white elephant day features Mike Rhyner in the driver’s seat and Junior Miller doing tickers.

So far so good. Juniors tickers are cracking me up and Mike is going through callers. Some good, some boring and some funny.

Even though JUB JUB cried about Rhyner’s penalty kill for 2 hours, I thought it was just what the white elephant is supposed to be, nonsense.  So Mike and Junior get a huge thumbs up.  Fernando is about as dorky as his outfit in the picture below.
