Bob dropped a bombshell today during BaD Radio’s 3000th show. He’ll be missing somewhere between 4-6 weeks as of August 29th, and P1′s will have to do without his sports commentary, his blogging and his tweeting.
Roughly two and a half years ago, during one of their annual missions to an orphanage in Guatemala, Bob and his wife Sally decided that they wanted to improve the life of an orphan. After wading through Guatemalan bureaucracy, they started the process of adopting a young Honduran orphan who is now five years of age. The entire Sturm family will be traveling to meet their newest addition and sort out his US immigration.
PS – Hey BDH – you adopted a Mike Vick victim dog? Well, Bob just out-did you. Your move!
[Update 08/22/2011 - 08/23/2011] – The great Mark Followill mentioned that he’ll be filling in for the Sturminator for at least a few episodes. So we’ve got that going for us.
