New Streaming Player

by PowerDown on January 12, 2009 · 3 comments

I noticed this morning that our beloved Ticket has a new internet streaming player.

At first, I was a bit nervous that it was based on Silverlight, which is a newer technology that hasn’t been completely proven yet, but it loaded quickly, and I must say that the quality of the stream is much better than it was before.

I have only been listening for an hour, but they seem to have a better flow of the ads that are playing on the stream as well.  For a while there, the ads were really suspect and some of them were flat out annoying.

If you stream K-Ticket at work, this is a welcome change.  If you don’t, then you probably don’t have any idea what the hell I do for a living, so get off the air.

Did you happen to catch the update to that iphone post? They did change the audio stream, so check out the update in red and see if that helps:

I tried to set this up yesterday and it didn’t work for me. I tried a few other configurations and nothing I did would get it to work.
