Mike’s “UnTicket” Mind

Yesterday during Mike’s Mind, he was needing a little pick-me-up laughter and wanted to hear Dizzy Dee & Coco raps that Corby & Danny did 10 or so years ago. What came to his mind was “It’s great to re-listen on TheUnTicket!”.

It’s fun listening to Corby ask if we work and the boys just give us a little love, but it’s even more fun listening to how tense Corby gets about his rap series.

While I loved hearing theunticket.com get some love, it drove me crazy knowing they couldn’t replay some of those songs on the air for fear of getting in trouble. They already killed off the Overcusser. It Z-ing sucks.

Worse than that for me, Mike, is the Corby/Danny distancing from Dizzy D and Coco, like they are so above that now. They were silly songs about the Texas F’n Rangers, not something you were hoping would get you a Grammy. Those raps were 10 times better than anything those two have done in the last 3 years. Grubes saved the whole thing with his whole “I thought they were a real band” comment.

I wasn’t listening when this segment came on, but I whole heartedly agree with Daniel. It’s been around 3 years since we got anything worthwhile out of Corby.

Corby does not appear to put much work into his work anymore. “Preparation? What’s that?”
