If you caught any of the back-in-forth between BaD Radio and some douche bag that calls himself “Common Man” (Dan Cole) from KFAN in Minnesota, then this post will make sense to you. If not, enjoy the picture and the horrible attempt at a bit they created to I guess make fun of us.
I have to admit, this audio makes me appreciate the Ticket bits so much more. This sounds like some HORRIBLE FM station trying to be funny.
My point is this guy sounds more like a queen rather than a man. **One side comment about this guy…when I turned on their stream to hear what they were saying, he actually said ‘they might have a better football team, but there’s no way they have a better sports talk show than us’ …. reminds me of the horrible American Idol contestants that say they thought they were the next thing.**

That was awful. I’m not sure they have ever listened to the Ticket. They probably found old audio somewhere or had listened to the station once upon a time because one of the characters sounded like a Randy Galloway impersonation…who works for ESPN now…
And why hockey? As if the Ticket (outside of BAD radio and Razor with the Musers) EVER talks hockey. Going even further, have they ever listened to a DALLAS STARS broadcast? Razor is Canadian and Ralph Strangis is from up Minnesota or Wisconsin or something…not Texas.
Anyway, not only is this not funny, it doesn’t make any sense. It’s not like I refused to laugh because they’re poking fun at a station I like. I laugh when something is funny. If they did a good impression of Dan McDowell or Rhynes, or they were talking about something that made sense, like the Cowboys or “guy talk”, then they’d have a start. A start, I say. Maybe someone should send that station a clip of “The Touchdown Brothers.” THAT is a finely crafted bit.
Wow, that was bad. By the way, how Stanley Cups has Minnesota won? I think we know Hockey.
Who do I call to get my wasted time back? I never thought I’d say I’d rather listen to 105.3 the Fail than anything, but by God these Minnesota assholes have done it. Oh well, at least they are going to the Super Bowl. Oh, wait…

I didn’t bother to listen to the bit but I have to tell you the Common Man is pretty funny. Not to you Texans who take your sports to serious but to the rest of us who like to look at the world with a glass half empty point of view.
@dhorn – when you have no one worth a shit to compare “common man” with, it’s easy to assume he’s “pretty funny”. It’s just not funny at all. I’ve listened to some of his live show on the stream and he’s horrible. And WTF is up with that stupid windows sound bit he plays constantly? This is 2010…update your sound bites. The show is horrible and for him to say his is better than the ticket, it really shows how ignorant the guy really is. I’d love to see ratings between the two shows/stations.

I have to agree with you guys. I live in Minnesota and Dan Cole sucks. KFAN is a good station from 6am-noon. When “The Common Man” comes on the air at noon, I turn it over to Sirius NFL. This guy is by far the worst radio, talk show host in the country.
All of these people that post the negative comments don’t understand they are the punchline. That fact that people get this upset about the Common Man show is what makes the bit funny. Y’all Texans should be fixin’ to show a little more class.
