DVR for Radio

If you aren’t familiar with, let me introduce you.

Think of it like your personal recording service for streaming radio. We do the recording, the storing and you just listen when it’s convenient for you. There are personal accounts for those looking to keep up with their favorite shows and professional accounts for those that own the content and want sharing options for those that want to listen to your content.

When it comes to The Ticket, we have been archiving the full shows since September 24, 2011. We have a special “P1 Personal” plan that will give full access to the entire archive of the show(s) you like. Head over and create an account and give it a whirl for a month, it’s really simple.

Everyone that has been having the weird issue of the stream stopping after a certain timeframe, can you please give it another shot now and see if it’s still happening? We’ve disabled something to see if it’s possibly causing the issue with some of you. Please let me know asap. thx

Hello, I tried recording the first round of the NFL draft and apparently the stream stopped after 73 minutes. I regularly download the daily shows from your archives, will you be offering a recording of the Draft coverage? The NFL draft is a lot more interesting when you hear it from the Ticket’s perspective. Thanks, Jeff

Hey guys, I know you get beat to death with these questions but I can’t seem to find my answer when I do a search on your website. Here’s the deal: I am looking for the URL that specifically points to previously aired shows of the The Hardline–the podcast URL, that is. I’m not sure if the URL I currently have is broken but I can’t seem to get the most recent shows to push upon refreshing. I use the Podcruncher app (which I highly recommend over Apple’s Podcast app) to listen to the old shows and now, there are no shows beyond May 31st. Lastly, I want to tell you guys what a great website you have and I will be sure to donate to your cause. Thanks fellas!

    Good Evening,
I love the unticket! I have been using this for years now to listen to Muser episodes that I have missed. I have a quick question. I used to be able to listen to the program, press pause and come back to where I was at and listen where it left off. Now every time I exit out of my Safari on my IPhone and come back the player resets to the fist page and I have a tough time trying to find my spot again e.g., Date and Time during the Musers broadcast. Any suggestions?
Thanks so much for all that you do!

I’ve had this problem too. Just gotta screenshot it everytime you’re exiting out. I think it mainly happens when new episodes are uploaded.

Any idea when the episodes will be back up?

The player is stalling out, pausing, clipping and chopping every broadcast and when trying to download a file the progress crawls at the slowest possible rate.

I really miss the Usave-it show archives. This temporary shutdown hurts my soul. The tickets ratings will go down if the P1 is unable to keep up with inside jokes/drops we missed during the work hour (can’t always stream it live – especially hurts shows like BADD Radio). I hope they partner with you guys & find a solution very soon.

You’re an idiot. The ticket doesn’t run this site, and nobody is forcing you to pay for anything. You can listen on the radio or online for free.

  46. bob
    February 06, 2015 16:46 Reply

BUT Chowhall, AT LEAST the comment should remove the word ‘temporarily’. There’s nothing temporary about this. At the very least, he should say ‘indefinitely suspended…’. Temporary implies it will be back up soon, as it was before, i.e. free

    • February 06, 2015 17:00 Reply

well, actually it’s temporarily, bob. But thanks for seemingly knowing what is going on behind the scenes. I’ve paid for P1’s, like yourself, to be able to listen for free for over 7 years without ever asking for anything. I’m trying to find another way to offload the archives to a different host so you guys can still listen for free.

Anthony, you never have to pay for a thing…just as chowhall said. But if you want to use the service that is archiving the shows right now, you can STILL listen free. Signup for a free account. Setup your own recordings. You have to manage/delete … all that good stuff, but you can still listen for free. You want the luxury of using the easy account where you just listen and/or download, then yep, you’re going to have to pay.

See, the free use has run the bandwidth through the roof and I’m not going to pay $9k plus in bandwidth overage…not even $500 more than what I already pay. I like my fellow P1’s, but not that much.

Now, the greatness of SportsGreek, who helps on this site and does a killer job…has started posting the full show archives here. So before any of you clowns get your panties too far up your rear about this TEMP issue here, you can take your little P1 browser there and download, stream … whatever you want to do with it. And guess what … that’s possibly a temporary place. Hopefully you can handle that. We’re not sure how much they will take if P1’s start bombarding it. Hopefully it stays with no issue.

Anyhow, that’s where it’s at. I wish I could rub my magic hands together and make all of you “gimme free downloads” peeps happy, but I’m still shopping around looking for the right “ten-setta”.

@fonz … If you allow the trial to expire, we change it to the basic free account, which does not include the ticket archives any longer. to continue, you’ll need to upgrade to the p1 account before your trial expires. If you miss the deadline, just email and explain you want to upgrade to p1 account but missed deadline and your account can be adjusted so you can upgrade to get the archives back.

I live in the sticks here in Oregon. I’m, an absolute devoted p1 for years. I probably recorded full Ticket broadcasts daily for over 5 years straight. My p1 journey began with being a huge Cowboys fan, simply looking for Cowboys talk, thatgot me hooked on the Ticket. I bet that’s a common story for many of us. When my computer took a dump, I relied heavily on the UnTickett to record shows I missed, etc. I can’t stand ungratefullness, so I want to thank the Untickett for giving me years of free entertainment. I can certainly understand your need to make money in this society- it is the American way. I do miss the days of when not everything required money- for instance, not sure why the Ticket doesn’t provide this service themselves- maybe as a solid to their devoted fan base. Then again, America has become about making everything about profit. I know this as I work for a greedy corporation myself. But, truly, to the Un Tickett, thank you for what you gave us for free for years. And thanks to (I’m not getting this name totally correct) “Greek” for giving some of us an acceptable option. I sincerely mean that- I would have gone crazy without the ability to download shows and listen at work, and distract myself from my personal, stress-filled life. I can’t very well now say this is a “bait and switch”, or become angry at theUn-Tickett after they have clearly demonstrated for years that it wasn’t about profit. That’s changed- but totally understandable, and doesn’t make the years of free service disappear. Lets not all kill the messenger or havesuch short memories.
