DVR for Radio

If you aren’t familiar with, let me introduce you.

Think of it like your personal recording service for streaming radio. We do the recording, the storing and you just listen when it’s convenient for you. There are personal accounts for those looking to keep up with their favorite shows and professional accounts for those that own the content and want sharing options for those that want to listen to your content.

When it comes to The Ticket, we have been archiving the full shows since September 24, 2011. We have a special “P1 Personal” plan that will give full access to the entire archive of the show(s) you like. Head over and create an account and give it a whirl for a month, it’s really simple.

Sorry DP, you are right. My comment and attitude was wrong. You do a great service and should not have to pay for others to enjoy archived shows.

I’m having the same problem….very sad.

@fonz … If you allow the trial to expire, we change it to the basic free account, which does not include the ticket archives any longer. to continue, you’ll need to upgrade to the p1 account before your trial expires. If you miss the deadline, just email and explain you want to upgrade to p1 account but missed deadline and your account can be adjusted so you can upgrade to get the archives back.

I live in the sticks here in Oregon. I’m, an absolute devoted p1 for years. I probably recorded full Ticket broadcasts daily for over 5 years straight. My p1 journey began with being a huge Cowboys fan, simply looking for Cowboys talk, thatgot me hooked on the Ticket. I bet that’s a common story for many of us. When my computer took a dump, I relied heavily on the UnTickett to record shows I missed, etc. I can’t stand ungratefullness, so I want to thank the Untickett for giving me years of free entertainment. I can certainly understand your need to make money in this society- it is the American way. I do miss the days of when not everything required money- for instance, not sure why the Ticket doesn’t provide this service themselves- maybe as a solid to their devoted fan base. Then again, America has become about making everything about profit. I know this as I work for a greedy corporation myself. But, truly, to the Un Tickett, thank you for what you gave us for free for years. And thanks to (I’m not getting this name totally correct) “Greek” for giving some of us an acceptable option. I sincerely mean that- I would have gone crazy without the ability to download shows and listen at work, and distract myself from my personal, stress-filled life. I can’t very well now say this is a “bait and switch”, or become angry at theUn-Tickett after they have clearly demonstrated for years that it wasn’t about profit. That’s changed- but totally understandable, and doesn’t make the years of free service disappear. Lets not all kill the messenger or havesuch short memories.

DP – does the P1 account for $13.10 per month permit downloading the audio? How about the $5/month plan? I notice that since my free one-month trial ended I can’t download my recordings. Thanks!

Hey, I noticed this morning that I can no longer download the full shows. Is this a glitch that will be fixed, or is this how it will be from now on? I am a truck driver, and I like to load them onto my ipod, and can’t always just stream it.

I noticed this too. Shows only play through player, can’t open show in a new window. What’s up?

Has the recording volume been lowered in the last week? All the podcasts seem quieter now.

What are the odds of getting a copy of the Friday Night Drags broadcast? (Friday July 24th 9:00pm to end) Or at least a link to listen to it…

So, I got an email from paypal, saying my auto payments of $13.10 to thinkit media was canceled. Then I logged onto my usave-it account, and nothing was there. Is this no longer a thing? Does it have something to do with new cumulus ownership?

Since SportsGreek has stopped posting full shows, I’ve attempted to sign-up for the U-Save It option, wanting to have access to the full shows- willing to pay for it. So, I used the link to U-Save it, which leads to their website (where I successfully signed up for an account with them.

But, at the U-Save it website, they request you first verify your e-mail by clicking on the link they are supposed to send to your e-mail. I can’t seem to get this e-mail from them. It’s not in my spam folder, and I’ve tried the “re-send e-mail” option numerous times- i never receive it.

Have any of you other P1s’ had this issue? I simply want access to the daily full shows, am willing to pay. Are there other options for full show access since Sportsgreek no longer posts them (btw, thank you very much to Sportsgreek for his years of service, and continued service- I just prefer full shows).

    Thanks for any help.

$13.10 a month seems pricey for the Ticket archives. Thats more than Spotify or the priciest Netflix account. And since its not included in the trial, its a bit of a mystery what is even included. Do they edit out the commercials of full shows? Are they available just by segment (Muse in the News, Biggest Show, CGH, etc)? Is there a podcast feed? What audio format?
