The Hardline +1 Series

In the absence of Greggo, The Hardline has been throwing their new series called “The Hardline +1″. Basically, it’s Rhyner, Cobra and Dan Paul with the addition of a guest spending 4 hours with them. So far, I would give it a thumbs up. The people they’ve had on have been pretty good so far. It almost makes what they do a piece of cake because these guest hosts have been so good. Granted, Rhyner, who is still alive, runs the show with Corby driving it in his behind, but they usually have a good mixture with their guests.

I think what I’ve liked about it is the steadiness of the usual suspects, but with the nice add on flavor of someone new. Like always eating vanilla ice cream, but once in a while trying chocolate or strawberry flavoring on top.

Good job ticket

Great show today. I was always a fan of Ken Daley’s articles and it was great to hear him today. He blended in well. Hope they have him on again.

I think the +1 is a decent bit….like a working interview for a possible replacement..

I agree, it seems like an “on air” audition or something – trying out the same people and seing how it “feels”. I’ve missed a couple of days, but I agree – the one with Ken Daley was good. He’s got some solid reporting background, rather than some usual “radio guy” attitude. It was a very nice balance.

I too have always been a huge fan of Ken Daley. The Morning News hasn’t been the same since he left. He would certainly bring a great deal of knowledge to the show. His dry and witty humor would fit in quite nicely. Rumor has it he will be back this Friday.
