Ticket Compound Follow Up – I’ll Give It The Finger

Wanted to post this the last day of the ticket compound, but started scratching my ass and just finished. I felt a true opinion of the ticket compound was in order since the ticket puts their positive spin on everything they do.

Compared to past ticket compounds, this one SUCKED! It had it’s bright points, like Sturm and Donovan’s old school hip hop hour, Junior Miller’s coast to coast anal alien probing and the best of every compound, how different hosts jump on other shows. Mixing up the shows with other shock sports jocks just makes the ticket more of a family rather than a few dudes showing up for 4 hours a day to work.

Other than that, the rest of the compound absolutely sucked. You had ‘Hollywood’ Keith doing his own thing, then trying to bail early on the last day, which I think Lord Dunham had every right to be pissed about. What happened to acoustical douche? What happened to the late night hilarious antics? Seems the scene was more about a party to the other ticket employees who no one cares about. You can even leave out the ticket sluts. What good does ticket chics do the listeners? They’re not showing us their tits on the webcam, you can barely even see them if you do have webcam. It should be the main ticket hosts that spend every waking minute together for a week.

Maybe I expected more than they really have these days. Don’t get me wrong, there were fun moments as mentioned above, but I’d rather listen to burrito Jimmy, mush mouth and crew for 40 hours straight talking nothing but sports.

The Ticket Compound Confusion

Where is the ticket compound? Common question. Well it is up in northern Dallas somewhere. If you know, leave a comment here since everyone wants to know.

Anyhow, last night right before the Mavs post game show with Ben’s 4 Skin, the ticket compound had what I labeled as “Compound Confusion”. Now it was definitely nothing like earlier in the day where the bad weather caused confusion left and right with power outages and the Musers leaving the compound to go to the station and do their show. (To which Gordon was gone all day). It was just fun confusion talk.

After JUB JUB, George Dunham, had his hour long ass kiss session with Randy Rogers, pictured above, (which didn’t he die in a plane crash after flying over Ozzy’s bus a long time ago? Or is this the guy who always sang “Happy Trails to You”?), they had the Top 10, then late night compound confusion happened. It was George Farthead, Dongovan, Gordo Hollywood, Snake Spit Davidson and I think that’s it. They made noise and jokes for a few minutes. I think they were all meth’d up by the sound of it. Everyone was talking kind of fast.

Junior Miller’s Coast to Coast

Junior hosted his after hours show last night about UFO’s, Aliens, Ghost’s and Alien Anal Probing. The hour long show featured constant calls with stories about P1 experiences revolving around the aforementioned.

The audio file was actually abducted by aliens in the form of Greggo and changed the output into what they could understand better.

The Dan McDowell Disco Hour

Dan McDowell had his segment Rhyner called the “Dan McDowell Disco Hour”. It was a crazy hour of Ticket Chics, Gordon and his acoustic, crazy calls (like me asking Gordon to point to the vaginal slice born born on a ticket chic) and of course, Dan “Balls Hangin Down” McDowell.

FINALLY – Ticket Compound Delivers

Tonight not only marked the start of the Ticket Compound, it also marked one of the first times I enjoyed something Bob Sturm was involved with. Tonight during the 7 o’clock hour, Sturm and Dongovan had old school hip hop / rap hour. When I first heard what they were doing, I was disappointed because it was like turning on some satellite station. Then they started with the old hits. One after another it was nothing but pure entertainment. Granted, I doubt Sturm would have done it without the brotha influence of Donovan, but either way they delivered one of the more memorable segments on the ticket.

The Ticket Compound – Failed?

So far so suck! Maybe the ticket crew is having a good time hanging out with each other, but overall, the ticket compound has proven to be pretty F’n boring. We’ve yet to hear Acoustical Douche. No Craig Miller coast to coast. Nothing.

Granted it is just Tuesday and we have a few more days to go, but they better get some evening meat flapping in gear if this is going to be worth a flip in years to come. If they want people to actually listen late at night when most are not used to, they need to realize no one wants to hear about sports. We have all day to listen to Rhyno talk baseball or Sturm ramble around hockey or Junior talk basketball. We get that all day, give us some fun in the evening.

Think of it like working 9-5. If it’s during the weekday, we’re in work mode. If it’s after hours, let’s not talk shop, let’s drink some beer and have some fun. Same with the Ticket Compound. Don’t give us NORM talking NCAA basketball. I don’t care if it’s the championship game. We’re going to hear it all the next day.

Anyhow, I look forward to some make up sex tonight.
