Mike “The Self Promotor” Rhyner
Corby “The Cobby Cobra Snake” Davidson
&
Danny “The Afternoon I Hate Stuff Unless I’m Drunk Playing Music Cloud” Paul Balis
. . .venture into the world of the Concert Calendar. Corby will tell us church sucks, Rhyner will say Rhyner is dead and then promote Pitty Theft and Big Dumb Danny will refer to all of it as, “They Suck!”
That’s what makes the Concert Calendar so much fun. You get the upcoming concert information ending up with my personal favorite, the Reconsider Lounge. It’s always the last part of the calendar and they usually always deliver. This is where bands like “My Sister’s Stinky Box”, “Hamburgers with Doo Doo as the Meat”, “Popcorn with Doo Doo as the Butter” and “I Was With Your Mother Last Night”. All classics.

This is a classic interview with the hardline, Rhyner and Greggo, interviewing Kenny Lofton from the Texas Rangers. Lofton was showing very little interest in the interview and Rhyner told him they were as interested in the interview as he was and cut him off. Audio gold:

The Hardline revisted the audio from last week. Grubes utilized his new technique of isolating the microphone and it provides high comedy and new laugh drops.

The Hardline brought in Grubes new leader last week for a little talking to. Doyle King recounts his history and gives insight to the man behind the “pipes”.
Doyle did not disappoint.

The Hardline spoke to two new Ticket Chics, well, more like an interview process. They seem outgoing, but interesting lives. One speaks of living on a bass boat on lake Lavon.
They played Doable - not Doable. Sara and Brittney.
- Dan Paul Balis - Yes and Yes
- Rich Phillips - Yes and Yes
- Grubes - Yes and Yes
- Mike Rhyner - No and Yes
- Corny Davidson - Yes and Yes
here’s a couple photos

I was happy to learn today that Greg “The Hammer” Williams has picked up the pieces and redirected his career. I thought for sure he’d move on to do another talk show and had even heard rumors that maybe he’d hooked up with a gig (do you like your gig? that’s not the question…) in Denver.
But apparently that’s not the case.
It seems that Greggo has landed a key role in Honda’s touring production of “Robots on Ice” playing the lovable “Asimo” character. I think it’s perfect for him! And look how happy he seems…

That theory CAN be proven, huh Hammer?

Looks like we find out today at 5:15. Of course, the Wade press conference is going to screw it up I bet.
This morning was supposed to be the “BIG PROGRAMMING ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE TICKET”. They announced Ticket Stock, with Nolan Ryan. How the hell is that “Programming”? I tell you why they said that, because they wanted everyone to listen. They’re playing off of Greggo being gone.
Norm did say the Hardline will talk about Greggo at 5:15 today. Hopefully they put this stupid thing to rest and get the hammer back.
If you’re not coming back hammer, you’re welcome to be a guest here on the Unticket. “Let us hear from ya!”

For my favorite segment of the day, “Why today doesn’t suck”, they hand off the show to Corby Davidson, Dan McDowell and Gordon Keith. WTDS was short lived due to Wade press conference, which I thought was going to be another great bit where they talk over him, but Gordo only did it a couple times.
Gordo doing tickers didn’t disappoint first time around. Mush-Mouth made an appearance for Gordo and did the entire ticker. I figured Gordo would take over eventually, but Mush-Mouth did the entire thing, sponsors too. It was hilarious. I think the funniest part was when he broke into the sponsors.
Tim Delaughter from The Polyphonic Spree and one of my old favorite local bands, Tripping Daisy, was on with his wife. He spoke of wanting to tour with Led Zeppelin if they tour. Um, he’s probably the only one that wants that spot. But he uncomfortably said he stared at Robert Plant’s dong. I think he even knew the name of it. That should be thrown into “Gay or Not Gay”.
**UPDATE**
WOW!! Corby is the most abrasive person I think I’ve ever heard. He might as well ask Bill Clinton if he fucked Monica or ask OJ if he hate raped both victims after he sliced them up. Funny though. Bob and Dan will never get Bob Knight on their show again.
