I believe this bit was from Summer 2008. I am always surprised by how accurately it reflects actual automated telephone systems.
Anytime I hear some dumbass automated voice respond to my request by saying “Hmmmm.. I didn’t get that”, I think of this bit. And then I mash the keypad hitting zero over and over, screaming “agent”, “associate”, and “carbon-based life form!”.
