The Ticket FINALLY made it official today. Greggo gave his resignation to The Ticket. In other words, they either fired or forced him to resign. Rhyner mentioned that it has turned into legal hell, but that just tells me that Greggo didn’t actually resign on his terms, that was part of the deal. He was able to resign rather than be fired.
Ahh..those were the best of times. Here’s a special farewell to you mr. hammer:
As big dumb Danny said, it’s like going through a divorce. They are pushing out Greggo for an addiction problem, something millions of people deal with on a daily basis, but if they would stop and realize what they’re doing, there are tens of thousands of people, like myself, that are addicted to the Hardline, ‘with’ Greggo. I think it was the worst move the Ticket has ever done. The guy didn’t piss people off, or do something horribly wrong, he just had a health issue that some people didn’t agree with.
***UPDATE***
Was reading more around town and had to check out one of my new favorite blogs to read, The Unfair Park (It’s terrrrible - not really, just for Bob). Wilonskey has a great post about the Greggo resignation with a few fun reads, an official statement and a fan submitted video. Sorry Robert, I’ll link people to your site, but have to plug the video over here. Genius video whoever did it.

well, however it went down….my vote for “the new guy” would be Dennis De Young from Styx. Because watching that fucking video was hilarious. If the little Ticket had someone with that hair on staff, all would be right with the world.
BYE, GREGGO! I’LL MISS YOU!!
