Posted on 23 July 2008 by Doanwanna Poopoo

Bad Radio were talking about the Espy’s and played some funny audio from the show. Evidently Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly were asked to host the show and they decided to give a few demands:

Robot Greggo’s Friend - Robot Golberg

Posted on 29 June 2008 by Doanwanna Poopoo

A small farm in the midwest. Fry street. That theory cannot be proven. While there are many things I miss when it comes to Sweet Greggo not being on the Hardline anymore, one of my favorite unforced characters was “Robot Greggo”. It was just more greatness that he threw out without even having to try. Here’s a great montage of Robot Greggo from MacGruber’s drop page:

If you are a fan of the UFC, you should be familiar with the fight commentator Mike Golberg. He’s kind of the play by play guy of the UFC fights along side Joe Rogan. I think Mike Golberg was either a fan of Greggo or read the same “How to be a Sports Broadcaster” book. He has been throwing out quite a few “Robot Golberg” moments.

Here are a couple examples. See if there are any comparisons.

This one I think he says “A roofer water proofer life speaker tile construction worker”. It’s tough to tell 100%, but very robotic:

Here it is singled out:

This one Robot Golberg says, “The veteran voice of the octagon Bruce Buffer”.

And singled out:

Nasty Nestor Aparicio - Hates Homeless People

Posted on 02 June 2008 by Doanwanna Poopoo

Nasty Nestor Hates HomelessWe usually don’t hear about the biggest douche bag in media until around Super Bowl time when The Ticket is on media row with him. Last year he really made some noise when he threw out his anti-semitic views on Jewish people. TheUnTicket.com did our best in making as much noise about Nasty Nestor as we could in support of The Ticket guys and I think we did a pretty good job.

Well, someone commented with a link about more dumb shit from Nasty Nestor, the king of all douche bags. It appears he decided it was wise to announce his hatred for homeless people in downtown Baltimore. Yes, Nasty Nestor hates homeless people! Shocker? Of course not. Nestor hates anyone that isn’t Nestor.

You can even read the comments made by the readers. Some agree, which are probably Nestor himself trying to make his point worth a flip. The majority of the comments are giving him a piece of their mind. I mean, hey, homeless people can bug anyone, but is it really right to use a public media source to tell everyone you hate them and you and your wife have nicknames that are so bad you can’t publish them? He then goes into how uppity he is about crabcakes. He should be fired and thrown out with his homeless friends.

BTW, just in case they decide to pull his stupid story, I went ahead and printed a copy as a backup.Nasty Nestor Hates Homeless People

Radiohead Concert - Hardline Segment

Posted on 21 May 2008 by Doanwanna Poopoo

IMG00056Sunday Night, May 18th, 2008, will go down as one of the most memorable concerts of my life. Radiohead, whom I had never seen in concert before, but absolutely can’t get enough of, was playing at Superpages.com (aka Starplex). The second the tickets went on sale, I was on ticketmaster trying to buy them. My first round was 4 reserved, then tried twice more and ‘thought’ I scored 8 more lawn tickets. Well, ticketmaster is smarter than I thought and they only sent me 4 reserved.

IMG00053This was an issue. I had 11 other friends that were already confirmed to go to the show, including 2 that flew in from Denver, but only 4 tickets. I finally decided this was going to be an awesome show and paid a visit to Stubhub.com. Eventually I had 12 VIP tickets that put us center stage, about 5-6 rows back from general admission. They were perfect seats for a perfect show.

Danny Balis and Corby Davidson were at the show, evidently right behind us which I’ll get to in a minute, but they did a segment on The Ticket about it. Play this audio while reading the rest (thanks to BabyArm for the audio):

Mind you, there were basically 12 people that are really good at drinking with us. We hit the ice house prior, which was after we had a pre-party. Needless to say once Radiohead hit the stage, we weren’t sober. You might think, “why be so drunk during a great show?”. Well, the show was a sobering experience, but was also intoxicating at the same time. It was surreal. I love going to concerts and use to see bands all the time in my younger years, but this was definitely the best concert I’ve ever seen. (Replaced Coldplay at Red Rocks, CO).

IMG00037During a quiet song “Exit Music (for a film)”, which you’ll hear Danny and Corby talk about, one of our friends decided it was a great point to scream “HOOK’EM HORNS!”. He has this knack about screaming things at the worst (or best) times and has a really loud yell. It was definitely a good laugh for us. (Side note: There was a heckler that yelled out “TOMMY” a bit into the song, which Thom kind of put in his place calling him a ‘funny guy’. This is what probably instigated our friend to yell out his Longhorn mating call. Our friend is around 2:18 of this video.)

If you’re reading this from a city where Radiohead is soon to play, I would highly recommend seeing the show. Like the Hardline said, though, if you aren’t that into Radiohead, I would suggest listening to their new cd “In Rainbows” beforehand. It is the majority of music played.

Here is the full set list Radiohead played in Dallas:

More Spam - But Be Careful

Posted on 05 March 2008 by Doanwanna Poopoo

I posted a while back about the best spam ever and people really seemed to like it. So this is a follow up to that post with a new spam received today. Now if you happen to see this in your email, DO NOT CLICK IT! Your first reaction is to pop them with your mouse, but there’s a virus on the back end of the picture. (obviously there’s no virus here, so pop away)

Thanks Mr. Spammer!

UFC Mainstream - Silva vs. Henderson

Posted on 02 March 2008 by Doanwanna Poopoo

Whoever has been a fan of the UFC since the original days where they threw them into a cage and whoever lived won, the UFC has reached a point where it’s one of the most exciting and popular sports out there now. If you don’t believe this, look at this screenshot I just took of the Yahoo homepage:

UFC Fights

When the top story on a Saturday night is who won the headlining fight between Anderson Silva and Dan Henderson, then that tells you the UFC has taken the front seat of all major sports. I’m glad to see the popularity, but I hate to see the popularity because I see Dana White raising prices even more on us fans. I won’t pay for any more price hikes.

Jimmy Kimmel is F@#King Ben Affleck because Sarah Silverman is F@#King Matt Damon

Posted on 25 February 2008 by Doanwanna Poopoo

I used to always wonder why Kimmel acted like he bumbed Matt Damon at the end of every show. But what a perfect build up to this string of videos. Pure Genius. Just in case you missed Sarah’s first shot, here it is:

now here is Jimmy’s response where he claims to be F@#King Ben Affleck, which is best buds of Matt Damon. Jimmy lined his up with huge names too! Brad Pitt, Harrison Ford, Cameron Diaz, Joan Jett, Macy Gray, Robin Williams, Don Cheadle, Pete Wentz, Perry Farrell, Benji and Joel Madden, Lance Bass, Huey Lewis, Josh Groban, McLovin, Christina Applegate, Rebecca Romijn, and Dominic Monaghan, and Meatloaf and probably a few more. It’s truly genius. The shot of them walking with their hands in each others back pockets made me fall out of my chair laughing.
