A Week of JFK Talk – 50th Anniversary

The little Ticket did an amazing job this week on the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination…lived up to that Marconi. There are many other segments around this topic from the week, but after listening to it all and cutting it up, I’m just done. I’ll add more to the list when I recover.

Gordo, don’t be a cowardly dupe. Good grief. How long can you beat the Oswald/grassy-knoll horse and pretend you’re snuffing out the serious opposition? Never mind the forest of actually relevant questions: who most benefited, who had motive to order the hit, who worked for/with the CIA or FBI, why Oswald’s tax records have been concealed, and so on. No, it’s easier — more politically correct? — to just keep trotting out the hackneyed red herrings, to demonize the “conspiracy nuts” so you don’t have to think, reason, and defend your otherwise hardly defensible position. (How ironic, how hypocritical, that you wrote a DMN column smearing the conspiracy researchers for their supposed forgoing of logic!) Ask all the wrong questions; get all the right answers is the unspoken motto of every Good American “journalist.” Gordon “Govt wouldn’t/couldn’t conspire to commit such a criminal act!” Keith: Good American journalist.
